Shannon Amber is a small town girl with big hair and big dreams. Raised in the country town of Cedar Grove, Indiana she's anything but basic, with her first EP titled "No Basic Chick." By day Shannon Amber teaches music to the best students in the world and by night writes and performs music. Her love of music started at an early age with her parents taking her to see country legends like George Jones and Willie Nelson. Other legends like Aretha Franklin and Loretta Lynn inspired her to tell her own stories and deliver them with her soulful country sound like in her song "Stay Strong." Her latest album "Middle of Nowhere" includes a rockin', country tribute to her hometown, and is available on all digital platfoms.
When Shannon Amber is not playing music you can find her painting furniture, or bedazzling something for her boutique- The Pink Cowgirl.
